Our Story

It all begins with the woman behind the name: Elizabeth Ham Fields, 1916 - 1982. She was my great-grandmother; the mother to my beloved Mimi. Elizabeth was a true “Jill of All Trades.” She sewed children’s clothes, dresses, made custom hats, reupholstered furniture, sewed slipcovers, and made the most beautiful ceramic pottery. She excelled at every new thing she tried throughout her life. She was the creative matriarch of our family, inspiring a legacy of women who seek to create warm and welcoming homes.

I hope to think I inherited a small amount of her creativity and skill. In speaking with my Mimi, Mom, and Aunt, it felt most fitting to name my business in her honor. At Elizabeth Fields Designs, we promise to offer you custom pillows sewn with precision and care that elevate your space. The greatest joy in life is to use our gifts to bless and share with others. That is something I feel I have learned most from hearing about the life of my great-grandmother, Elizabeth Fields.
